Jeffrey Brian Hill passed away at his home in Doylestown surrounded by his family on July 1, 2018 after his courageous 3 year battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 62.

He was born in 1956 in Syracuse, New York to the late Robert and Catherine Hill. Jeffrey graduated from North Hunterdon High School, Clinton, NJ in 1974 then went on to a Bachelors Degree in Architecture from Syracuse University in 1979. He followed this achievement with a Masters Degree in Architecture from Harvard University in 1981.

Jeffrey was an excellent artist winning juried competitions for oil painting while still is high school. He combined his creative passions and artistic gifts with a keen scientific mind which lead to a successful career as an Architect. At his death he was a senior project manager with the Nelson Group. His talents did not stop there, Jeffrey was a superb blues guitar man and a fine Celtic musician. Later in life he became a luthier, hand building guitars and a five-string fiddle for his brother. He was civic minded and involved in the Boy Scouts and Historical Architecture of Bucks County. Jeffrey was truly a Renaissance Man. He will be loved and missed by those whose lives he touched. The world will be a lesser place without him.

He is survived by his beloved wife Ellen, and loving son Jacob, his brother Robert (Jacqueline) Hill, father-in-law Ira Magod and mother-in-law, the late Carol Magod, brothers-in-law Dr. Marc Magod and Bill Magod, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Friday, July 6th at 1:00 pm. The family will receive their friends from 12:00-1:00 pm prior to service.
