Obituary for Mark Bagtaz

Mark Bagtaz
Mark David Bagtaz of Doylestown, PA passed away at home with his wife and children by his side, on Monday, May 28, 2018. He was 57.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Mark lived all over the country during his career, before settling in Doylestown, PA five years ago.

He was employed most recently by Element Materials Technology as General Manager of the Newtown PA lab. Last year he transitioned into the position of Business Development Director. Mark had a Master of Arts in Organizational Management. He was a US Naval Veteran. He was actively involved at Doylestown United Methodist Church, where he especially enjoyed the 11:11 Word and Worship Service on Sunday mornings.

When Mark wasn’t working at the job he loved, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He adored his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, spending time with friends, reading, and playing with his pets.

He was the beloved husband of Rosemary “Roz” Bagtaz; devoted father of Michael Bagtaz and wife Rebecca, and Katelyn Bagtaz; son of Robert Bagtaz and the late Margaret (Duran) Bagtaz; loving step father of Elisabeth and Grace Stevens, brother of Robert Bagtaz and wife Kelleigh, Jo Ann Gambrazzio and husband Scott, Paul Bagtaz and wife Janice, Eileen Pina and husband Robert, and Rik Bagtaz and wife Susan; cherished grandfather of Joshua and Rachel Bagtaz; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mark handled his illness with strength, positivity, and humor, and he never gave up hope.
