Obituary for Richard R. "Rick" Caputo Sr.

Richard R. Caputo, Sr. “Rick” of Doylestown, PA passed away suddenly on Monday, April 30, 2018. He was 66.

Born in Trenton, NJ to the late Carl and Mary Caputo, Richard resided in Feasterville, PA before moving to Doylestown, PA 30 years ago.

Richard was a graduate of Neshaminy High School and later received a Bachelor’s Degree from Rider University. He was the co-owner and operator of Signature Kitchen and Bath of Doylestown, PA for 20 years. He worked tirelessly on behalf of his clients and was loved by clients and vendors alike. Richard worked in the cabinet industry for over 40 years; was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church of Doylestown; enjoyed playing golf, and he was an avid football fan and enjoyed playing basketball in high school and college.

He was the beloved husband of 42 years of Ann (Clauss) Caputo; devoted father of Richard R. Caputo, Jr. and wife Lisa, and Daniel C. Caputo; dear brother of Joy Costa and husband Vince, Denise Zimmerman and husband Howard, and the late Carl W. Caputo; loving Pop of Ryan and Thomas Caputo.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 235 E. State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on at Friday, May 4th at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends from 10:00 -11:00 am prior to mass.

Cremation services will be private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home/Central Bucks Crematory, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church would be appreciated.
