Anthony Mariani of Doylestown, PA passed away at his residence on Thursday, December 28, 2017. He was 95.

Born in Bristol, PA to the late Emidio and Josephine (Petrizzi) Mariani, Tony resided in Pineville, PA for many years before moving to Doylestown, PA 5 years ago.

He was the former owner and operator of Mariani Builders of Bristol, PA before retiring at the age of 62. Tony built custom homes and Shell gas stations. He later owned Midge’s Barn of Pineville, PA with his late wife Frances for 25 years. Tony enjoyed poker and playing cards.

He was the beloved husband of the late Frances Mariani; devoted father of Antonia Weiss, Josephine Vasquez, Kimberlee Vitale, and the late Anthony E. Mariani; dear brother of Julia Drabek, Helen Maurio and husband Jerry; loving grandfather of Joshua Vasquez, Alexandra Rau and husband Brian; cherished great-grandfather of Ella Brianna Rau and Sadie Alexandra Rau; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Wednesday, January 3rd at 11:00 am. The family will receive their friends from 10:00-11:00 am prior to the service.

Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
