Condolences

Condolence From: Craig Gutelius
Condolence: Very sad news came to me today. I met Church in 1996 when he gave me my first managers job at Honda of Oakland in CA. We were kids! I remember him getting married to Michelle and having David Jr. We worked together many times. He even flew me out to Ohio from California in 2012 to work at Boardman Nissan. That was the last time I saw him. He was an intense boss and mentor...but as my friend...he always had a smile on his face. There was something special about him...that whoever met him knew. God Bless David... See you in the afterlife my friend.

Condolence: I am deeply saddened to hear of David's passing. He was part of a memorable high school senior English class my first year of teaching at Washburn High School. David's sense of humor and enthusiastic personality made him a stand-out for sure, but he was a pleasure to have in class. The letters he wrote me after he joined the military always brought a smile to my face. Rest in peace, David; in my mind, you'll always be a fun-loving high school student.
