David Ellis Churchill, Sr. of Boardman, OH passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 9, 2017. He was 53.

Born in Presque Isle, Maine he grew up in Caribou, ME. After spending time in Virginia, on the West Coast in both California and Nevada, he settled in Youngstown, Ohio.

David graduated from Washburn District High School, he served in the United States Marine Corps from 1982 and 1986. He was the owner of Boardman Nissan in Boardman, OH.

He enjoyed baseball, working out, watching sports with friends, and most of all David enjoyed spending time with his son.

He was the devoted father of David Ellis Churchill, Jr.; beloved son of the late Gerald and Marilyn Ellis; and former husband of Michelle Churchill.

A service will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Thursday, December 21st at 11:00 am. The family will receive their friends from 10:00-11:00 am at the funeral home prior to service.

A committal service with military honors will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA at 1:00 pm.

A reception will immediately follow at The Raven Restaurant, 385 West Bridge Street, New Hope, PA 18938.
