James A. Flynn of Quakertown, PA passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017. He was 63.

Born in New York, NY James was preceded in death by his parents, James and Joan (Marcroft) Flynn, a sister, Deborah Marie Flynn, and grandparents, Richard and Mae (Nelson) Marcroft of Connecticut, and Manhattan, NY.

He leaves behind his life partner Pam Hartrum; dear brother of Jeff Flynn of FL, Sharon Westfall of NC, Janet Flynn of PA, and Rob Flynn of CT; and his special buddy Mason.

After attending Penn State Berks, Jim was employed at Western Electric in Reading, PA then joined the Roofers Union working in CT, Philadelphia and NY. While in CT, Jim was a member of the Elks Club and Moose Lodge.
Jim loved playing guitar since receiving the first one under the Christmas tree in 1969. His greatest joy was at the table surrounded by friends and family. Jim enjoyed the outdoors, maintaining his MGB’s and riding his Sportster.

Jim was a beloved brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend. He will be missed, but in good hands.
A memorial service and burial will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY at the convenience of the family.
