Alba M. Mazorra died peacefully on Sunday, November 19, 2017. She was 87 years old.

She was the devoted aunt of Maria Suarez, Carmen Suarez (Michael Wachter) Ana Suarez, Alba Suarez (Patrick Scaliti), Renan Mazorra ( Maria), Maria Elena Mazorra (Len Kaminow) and Patricia Mazorra (Ed Melgar). She was preceded in death by her sister Elvira Suarez and her brother Renan Mazorra.

Alba was born in Havana, Cuba on July 19, 1930 and moved to the United States in her mid-twenties. She lived in Queens, NY for over 50 years. She was instrumental in helping her family immigrate from Cuba to the United States in the 1960’s.

She enjoyed travelling and spending time with her extended family. Alba’s family would like to thank the staff at Neshaminy Manor for the care and compassion their aunt received during her 10 year residency.

Services and interment will be held privately under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.
