Arthur G. Runyan of Doylestown, PA passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on Monday, November 13, 2017. He was 73.

Born in Chicago, IL to the late Garrett and Florence (Olson) Runyan, Arthur resided in Chicago, IL before moving to Doylestown, PA in 1974.

Arthur attended DePaul University of Chicago, IL where he studied computer science, marketing and business administration. He was formerly employed as a regional manager and software salesperson in the Database Industry for 48 years, prior to retirement. Arthur enjoyed traveling and beautiful sunsets, was a bird enthusiast who delighted in the outdoors and supporting the Bucks Co. SPCA and Brookline Lab Rescue.

He was the beloved husband of 54 years to Carol (Chamberlain) Runyan; devoted father of Scott Runyan, Suzanne O’Donnell and husband Robert, Michael Runyan and wife Jacqueline; dear brother of June Curtis; loving grandfather of Caroline, Gabrielle, Nora and Bruce.

A memorial service will be held at the Doylestown Presbyterian Church, 127 E. Court Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Saturday, November 18th at 11:00 am. The family will receive their friends from 10:00-11:00 am prior to the service at church.
