Thomas J. Doheny of Solebury Township, PA passed away on Friday, October 6, 2017 in Chandler Hall, Newtown, PA. He was 87.

Born in Abington, PA to the late Francis and Dorothy (McCreary) Doheny, Tom resided in Wrightstown, PA before moving to Solebury, PA in 1991.

He was the owner and operator of Russell Reed Trucking of Wrightstown, PA for 30 years, retiring in 1990. Tom was a US Army Veteran. He was a member of the Bucks County Ski Club for many years.

He was the beloved husband of the late Doris Doheny; devoted father of Tom Doheny and wife Joyce; dear brother of Robert Doheny and the late Joseph Doheny; loving half-brother of Francis and James Doheny; cherished grandfather of Kim Scheetz and husband Chad, Erica Moran and husband Matt, and Chris Doheny.

Arrangements were private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home/Central Bucks Crematory, Inc., 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.
