Obituary for Thomas J. Faia

Thomas J. Faia of Doylestown, PA passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in the Buckingham Valley Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Buckingham, PA. He was 78.

Born in Yonkers, NY to the late Patsy and Anna (D’Anna) Faia, Tom was a longtime resident of Doylestown, PA.

Tom was a graduate of Archbishop Stepinac High School of White Plains, NY and attended Manhattan College. He was the Owner/Operator of TJ Faia & Company of Willow Grove, PA for the last 46 years. Tom was a longtime member and Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church of Doylestown and a US Marine veteran. He enjoyed playing golf, tennis, watching college and professional sports, and was a huge Yankees fan. Tom especially loved watching his children and grandchildren playing sports throughout his life.

He was the loving husband for 52 years of Regina Faia; devoted father of Regina (PJ) Forcino, Timothy (Shaubie) Faia, and Kate (Ethan) Prout; dear brother of Patrick (Patricia) Faia, Richard (Diane) Faia and Paul (Patty) Faia; loving grandfather of Caroline, Drew, Ryan, Beckham, Connor, Kathryn, and Piper; also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Friday, October 6th from 7:00-9:00 pm.

A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 235 East State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Saturday, October 7th at 11:00 am. The family will receive their friends from 9:30-11:00 am prior to mass at church.
