John Darel Weaver, 74, of Limerick, PA passed away on August 6, 2017 peacefully after fighting a long battle with Multiple Myeloma.

Born in Canton, Ohio October 3, 1942 to Darel and Lena (Fry) Weaver. John graduated from Canton McKinley High School and received a Bachelor of Science from Ursinus College. He enlisted to serve in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. John worked in the direct mail business and started Weaver Print Productions in 2003. John went on to marry Diane Steelman, December 4, 2004. He enjoyed reading, playing golf, watching baseball (especially the Cleveland Indians,) traveling, singing in the choir and spending quality time with his grandchildren. He was also an avid train collector. John was a member of the Union League of Philadelphia and also a Board Member for St. John’s Hospice in Philadelphia. He was an active member of Brownback’s United Church of Christ. John will always be remembered for his amazing laugh

He is predeceased by his parents, Darel and Lena Weaver and his brother Robert Weaver. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Weaver, his brother Richard (Mary Joe,) his three sister in-laws Sharon Weaver, Linda (Michael) Clark, Karen (Joe) Rosella, four children Greg Weaver of Tampa, FL, Michael Weaver of New York, Christine (Jim) Eden of Margate, NJ and Michael Steelman of Carlsbad, CA, two daughter in-laws Stacie Steelman, Stephanie Radestock, ten grandchildren, Falon (Brian,) Jimmy (Tera,) Jack, Sean, Siena, Max, Joey, Harper, Brielle, Paige, one additional grandson on the way, two great grandchildren Logan, Ben and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 15th from 10:00-11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at Brownback’s United Church of Christ, 640 Ridge Road, Spring City, PA 19475.
