William J. Ankenbrant of Levittown, PA passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Langhorne, PA. He was 78.

Born in Pottsville, PA to the late Andrew and Violet (Roth) Ankenbrant, Bill resided in Penns Park, PA before moving to Levittown, PA in 1978.

He was formerly employed as a Truck Driver for 40 years and worked for Better Materials of Penns Park, PA. Bill was a cook after serving in the US Navy and also enjoyed golfing and the Phillies.

He was the beloved husband of 41 years to Joyce (Raub) Ankenbrant; devoted father of Brian (Lindsay) Ankenbrant of the United Kingdom, William (Karen) Ankenbrant of Phila., and step-father of Donald Lambert of Morrisville; dear step-brother of Ralph (Cindy) Schnoke and Joan (Robert) Baylor; also survived by 4 grandchildren, a step-grandson, and a great-grandson.

Private cremation services were under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home/Central Bucks Crematory, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.

Services with military honors will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA at a later date.
