Obituary for Dorothy Frances Speca

Dorothy F. Speca of Doylestown, PA passed away at her residence on Sunday, June 25, 2017. She was 88.

Born in Rochester, NY to the late Anthony and Frances Guzzetta, Dorothy resided in Bridgewater and Bedminster, NJ before moving to Doylestown, PA in 2014.

Dorothy received a Bachelor’s Degree from Nazareth College of Rochester, NY. She loved spending time with her family, and in her younger years, she enjoyed dancing, playing golf and bridge.

She was the wife of the late Elio J. Speca; devoted mother of Susan Duval of Doylestown PA, Bruce Speca and wife Gail of West Dennis, MA and the late Mark Speca; dear sister of Louis Guzzetta, Mary Pat Beaufait and Roberta Guzzetta; loving grandmother of Timothy Speca of Crested Butte, CO, Christopher Duval of Arlington, VA and Allison Duval of London, UK; also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

A casual and simple memorial service will be held at Wesley Enhanced Living, 200 Veterans Lane, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Saturday, July 1st at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you go out for dinner with friends and family, rejoice in their good company and the many blessings that you bring to each other’s lives.

Cremation services were private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home/Central Bucks Crematory, 344 N. Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.
