Obituary for L. Paul Kennedy

L. Paul Kennedy of Warminster, PA passed away at his residence on Sunday, June 18, 2017. He was 89.

Born to missionaries in French Equatorial Africa, Paul came to the United States as a small child. He was a lifelong resident of Warminster since 1956.

He received an Associates Degree in Engineering from George Washington University and was formerly employed as a Project manager with Fischer & Porter of Warminster, PA for over 40 years, retiring in 1991. Paul was a member and former Deacon with Neshaminy-Warwick Presbyterian Church; former member and officer with the Instrument Society of America; was a World War II US Naval Veteran and enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was the beloved husband of 63 years to Gloria Kennedy; devoted father of Susan Kennedy (Gene); dear brother of Rev. Lester Kennedy (Lois); loving brother-in-law of Barbara Watson (Late Ron); cherished grandfather of Paul, Madison and Cassidy McHugh; also survived by nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and a great-grand niece.

A viewing will be held at the Neshaminy-Warwick Presbyterian Church, 1401 Meetinghouse Road, Warminster, PA 18974 on Thursday, June 22nd from 10:00-11:00 am with a service to be held at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler, PA.
