Condolence From: Mike Eberhardt and family
Condolence: I am truly sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I worked for Jim many years, he hired me right out of tech school and shared his knowledge and wisdom with me. He will always be one of my greatest mentors. I would not be the person I am today without his guidance. My condolences to Mrs Chant, Steve, Michael, Peter, Phil and Christine and their families. Its a sad day in the Eberhardt household. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Condolence From: Peter La Montagne
Condolence: I met Jim when we were both on the Nature Preserve committee. We became friends initially through common interest in the Preserve, and later a common interest in bettering our Boro governance. He successfully evaded my efforts to persuade him to run for a Boro office by saying with a chuckle and smile, "Oh Peter, I'm too old for that." He was ever encouraging, offering thoughtful ideas, and took obvious pleasure in helping others.
