Eleanor M. Davis of Blue Bell, formerly of Pinehurst, North Carolina, died peacefully June 7, 2017. She was 91.

She was the beloved wife of the late Edward A. Davis. Ed and El joyously retired to Pinehurst in 1989 and found many new friends and activities. Ellie excelled at bridge and loved reading, tending flowers and volunteering. Earlier in life, she graduated from Toledo University and was a teacher in Toledo and
Pennsylvania, and an administrative assistant in Michigan.

Eleanor was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She cherished spending time with her family and friends and will be deeply missed.

Eleanor is survived by her children, Betsy Zazow (Paul), Mary Cliff (Dudley) and Charles Davis (Darlene); 5 grandchildren, Morgan and Jake Zazow, Jonathan Cliff (Rachael) and Scott Cliff (Jessica), Bradley Davis;
and great-granddaughters Anna, and Aubrey Cliff. Eleanor was predeceased by her daughter, Susan Carlson and sister, Margaret Kane.

Cremation services were private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home/Central Bucks Crematory, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.
