Gail Zearfoss of Pipersville, PA passed away in Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, PA on Thursday, May 25, 2017. Her final day was shared with girlfriends in a marathon game of pinochle, in which she excelled. She was 78.

Born in Frenchtown, NJ to the late Paul and Emily (Vanselous) Slack, Gail resided in Frenchtown, NJ before moving to Pipersville, PA.

Gail was a graduate of Frenchtown High School and worked as an Administrative Assistant in various positions that helped others throughout her lifetime. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Pipersville; taught Sunday School and Bible School in the church; played flute in the church Gloria Dei Ensemble; was a former Girl Scout Leader; was actively involved in her daughters’ school activities; volunteered for spaghetti dinners to raise funds for benefits at Delaware Valley Volunteer Fire Company of Erwinna; assisted with the food bank in Kintnersville; was a loving caregiver and enjoyed sharing meals with her friends.

She was the devoted mother of Deborah Davis of Norfolk, VA and Amy Zearfoss of East Helena, MT; also survived by many dear friends.

A memorial service will be held at the Christ Lutheran Church, 353 E. Dark Hollow Road, Pipersville, PA 18947 on Thursday, June 1st at 10:30 am.

Inurnment will follow in Upper Tinicum Cemetery, Upper Black Eddy, PA.

Cremation services were private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home/Central Bucks Crematory, Doylestown, PA.
