Obituary for Ruthann Mary Stief

Ruthann Mary Stief of Chalfont, PA passed at her residence surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 3, 2017. She was 67.

Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Patrick and Margaret (James) Mallon, Ruthann resided in Hatboro, PA before moving to Chalfont, PA in 2001.

She was formerly employed as a Director of Direct Marketing with Vertis Direct Marketing Services of Chalfont for 25 years, prior to retiring in 2009. Ruthann also enjoyed gardening and listening to Frank Sinatra.

She was the devoted mother of Karl Stief and wife Lisa, and Amy Johnson; dear sister of Patrick Mallon (Marge), Margaret Christmas, Carol Trana (Jerry), William Mallon (Margie), Timothy Mallon (Kathy), Theresa Mallon, Maureen Maye (Martin), Daniel Mallon (Dee), and Eva Hall (Michael); loving grandmother of Amber and Samantha Johnson; also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, and cousins.

Cremation was private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home/Central Bucks Crematory, Inc, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
