William (Bill) Cole-Kiernan of Lambertville, NJ & Great Barrington, MA, previously Highland Park, NJ and Long Beach, NY died Friday, March 31, 2017 after a long illness. He was 85.

Bill loved life, books, family, writing, running, thinking, tootsie rolls, hot tea, skiing and especially philosophy.

He was a stagehand on the night gang at the Old Met Opera house (NY) and Broadway Theater. Bill was a Philosophy Professor at St. Peter's University, Jersey City for 40 years.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Barbara, his children Christine, Rob, Eric, Ivan, Merrill, Jess & Evelyn and his grandchildren Jordan, Max, Julian, Evan, Caileigh, Cara, Alex, Lucas and by all who knew him.
