Helen S. Cherkowsky of New Hope, PA passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017 in the Pine Run Health Center, Doylestown, PA. She was 87.

Beloved wife of the late Charles Cherkowsky; devoted mother of Charles T. (Elizabeth) Cherkowsky, Edward Cherkowsky, and James (Mitzie) Cherkowsky; dear sister of the late James and David Fountas; loving grandmother of Jamie (David) Nikithser, Michael, Daniel and David Cherkowsky.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Martin of Tours Church, 1 Riverstone Circle, New Hope, PA 18938 on Saturday, March 4th at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am prior to mass at the church.

Cremation was private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, Doylestown, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the American Lung Association and American Heart Association would be appreciated.
