The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Ford can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Joe and Margot
Condolence: John was genuine - a very kind, welcoming and gentle person. Our friendship goes back only to 2004. However, he has given me memories of (what the Irish would call) "a good man". He showed me how to live with dignity.....Joe
How grateful I am for knowing John for many years. I treasure John's close friendship and honor the enduring spirit of this loving man. Both of us will long remember him but most especially when we hear "Oh Danny Boy"!Our deepest sympathy to Joann, Peter, Rob and Natalie...Margot

Condolence From: Chris Cleland
Condolence: I am sorry that I was unable to attend the services to pay my respects but I have been since I heard of the loss, To you all, as a young kid running around your home, I have many fond and vivid memories of the Ford family and Mr. Ford. Those memories pop in an out from time to time, especially when I drive down Court St. I know Rob and I went separate ways in schools as we got older but I would always consider you a friend. My sincerest condolences to the entire family. Rob and Pete, Mrs Ford, I will always remember Mr Ford as friendly, funny and welcoming person. I can still remember his discussion with Rob and I about being in a "click" and how that was not a good thing. Words of wisdom for us at the time. I wish you all well and please know that Mr. Ford left an impression on me as a youngster and I will always have fond memories of growing up around you all! I still live in the area so if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to call.

Condolence: John added fun to the gatherings at the Meyer's. He was there with the guys going to Penn Satate. He was always there. I remember him as a jolly, fun guy who I enjoyed being seated next to him at dinner. He was a scholar and a gentleman.

Condolence: Professor Ford, you taught me how to study. How to face the challenge I had for so many years. "He Has Raised You Up On Eagles Wings."
Rest In Peace Good Man.

To the Ford Family, Professor Ford was one of the best! I thank the Lord for having his class so many years ago.

Condolence: Dear Joann, Peter, Robert, and Natalie,
John was a dear colleague for all the years I worked at Bucks County Community College. I will always be grateful to him for telling me of a job opening at Bucks. He and I graduated from the same degree program at Univ. of Delaware. Further, I am grateful to John for generously agreeing to conduct the service when my husband, Dennis, died. John will be greatly missed by all. May he rest in peace. Please accept my condolences.
