The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Michael Killough can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolences

Condolence From: Beverley Rhinesmith & Paul Patent
Condolence: For his beloved Sharon, children and family. Our deepest sympathy and sorrow for the loss of Mike. He was such a truly great guy and a most amazingly talented craftsman. We think of him often when we spend time in our little red barn here in Doylestown. It was serendipity that we found him to work with and to get to know. Words just don't really say all we hope to here, but we will always remember him as a rare find and a kindred spirit on the journey of life.

Condolence From: Mark Griffith
Condolence: To Sharon and Family,
I was deeply saddened by the news of Mike's passing. He was an incredible man with a great, kind spirit who was taken away from us all too soon. In his work his talent and taste was remarkable. I am comforted by knowing that he was so well cared for during his illness. I am also very grateful for the time we spent together on August 20, 2016. He showed incredible strength and courage.Mike will always be remembered by those who had been graced in knowing him. His gentle soul will live on in the hearts of many. Sharon I wish you strength and courage to continue on. May you and the family be comforted by the beautiful memories of Mike.
Love and Blessings
Mark

Condolence From: Ginny and Eliot Ridgeway
Condolence: The following passage by Rosamunde Pilcher has been a comfort to us and we pray it will console you all as well:
"Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away into the next room. Nothing has happened. Everything remains exactly as it was. I am I, and you are you, and the old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged. Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by the old familiar name. Speak of me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference into your tone. Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without an effort, without the ghost of a shadow upon it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is absolute and unbroken continuity. What is this death but a negligible accident? Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just round the corner. All is well."
Peace be with you.
Love, Ginny and Eliot
