Obituary for Michael Killough Jr.

Michael Killough Jr. of Pipersville, PA passed away at his residence on Saturday, January 21, 2017, after a courageous struggle with ALS, surrounded by his family. He was 62.

Born in Abington, PA in 1954 to Michael Killough, Sr. and Doris Neville, Michael resided in New Hope, PA with Sharon before moving to Pipersville, PA 31 years ago.

He graduated from Central Bucks East High School in 1972, and became a builder and Master Craftsman, his talent knew no bounds, his work was masterful and very beautiful. What he loved the most was spending time with his family. His favorite pastimes were fishing, hiking and vegetable gardening.

He was the beloved husband of 32 years to Sharon (Perkins) Killough; devoted father of Corrie, Ryan and Sarah Killough; dear brother of Debbie Wagner, Donna Reinhart (Jack), Doug Killough (Amy), Dorothy Buckner (Curt), and Beth Kienzle (Joe); also survived by many nephews and nieces that he loved and adored and thought the world of. Mike will be missed by many. He was a great man.

A memorial gathering will be held at HollyHedge Estate, 6987 Upper York Road, New Hope, PA 18938 on Sunday, January 29th at 1 pm.

Cremation services were private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the ALS Association Greater Philadelphia Chapter, 321 Norristown Road, Suite 260, Ambler, PA 19002 or www.alsphiladelphia.org would be appreciated.
