Michael Pilla of Doylestown, PA passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017 in Doylestown Hospital. He was 81.

Born in Wycombe, PA to the late Frank and Josephine Pilla, he resided in Newtown, PA before moving to Doylestown 20 years ago.

He was formerly employed as a pool installer with Sylvan Pools of Doylestown for 30 years, before retirement. Mike also enjoyed hunting.

He was the beloved father of Frank Pilla and wife Eva, Phyllis Pilla and the late Anthony Pilla; dear brother of the late Mildred; loving grandfather of James Errico, Jr., Joshua Phillip Leavitt, Franklin Pilla, Jr. and wife Missy, Daniel Pilla and wife Allison and Carl Pilla; also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

Cremation services were private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home/Central Bucks Crematory, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.
