Russell A. Beck of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Doylestown, PA passed away at his residence in Florida on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. He was 73.

Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Russell and Tillie (Mink) Beck, Russell resided in Glenside, PA and Doylestown, PA for 17 years, before moving to New Smyrna Beach, FL 8 years ago.

He was formerly employed as a First Class Splicer with the Philadelphia Electric Company of Plymouth Meeting, PA for 32 years, retiring in 1993. Russell was a former member of the Glenside Volunteer Fire Department; member of the Cadillac LaSalle Club; member of the AACA (Antique Automotive Club of America) of Hershey, PA; and was a US Army Veteran.

He was the beloved husband of 16 years to Anna Mae Trendler; devoted father of Michele Beck Archer and husband Dave, Walter Beck and wife Ruth, Hannah Beck and husband Will Meyer, Joshua Beck and wife Erin Frater, Caleb Beck and dear companion Danielle Brant, and the late Micah Beck; loving grandfather of Benjamin, Danielle, Samantha, Lindsay, Ezekiel, Ezra, Elijah and Arleigh; dear brother of Tillie Todd and Martha Rappatone.

Visitation will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Tuesday, January 10th from 6:00-8:00 pm and Wednesday, January 11th from 10:00-11:00 am with a service to be held at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in Beulah Cemetery, New Britain, PA.
