Obituary for William R. Foster Sr.

William R. Foster, Sr. “Bill” of Danboro, PA passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 in the Pine Run Health Center, Doylestown, PA. He was 90.

Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Arthur and Helen Foster, Bill resided in Philadelphia, PA before moving to Danboro, PA 58 years ago.

Bill was the owner and operator of William Foster & Sons Welding of Danboro, PA since 1971 and retired in 1988. He was a World War II US Army Veteran and also enjoyed fishing, farming, hunting, computers and CB Radios. Bill also liked travelling to Canada and Long Beach Island, NJ.

He was the beloved husband of 59 years to Louise (Greb) Foster, devoted father of Gail (David) Bourassa, Donna (Alfred) Hoffmann, William R. (Brenda) Foster, and Gary (Justine) Foster; loving grandfather of Kelsey, Michelle, Daniel and Chad Foster; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The Foster family would like to thank Dr. Dennis Tafflin and his staff for their wonderful care since 1979.

A service will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Wednesday, December 21st at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am prior to the service.

Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery of Nockamixon, Ferndale, PA.
