Hello i wanted to send my condolences with the family. I didnt have a chance to know Mr. Hankins but it touched my heart to read his life story. I especially loved how you expressed that he was a gentle family man and great listener what beautiful qualities in a man. How he gave the best hugs and handshakes says alot about him, that means he is very loving. He was also a spirutual man, what a wise man. And his dog wiggles, brought a smile to my face. So sad to loose someone who is so dearly loved and touched someone so much to write such beautiful things about him like you did. I wanted to share some comforting words. The bible refer to God, as the God of all comfort, and rightfully so because through his word he gives us comfort. Death is painful and Revelation brings out that he will wipe away every tear from your eyes and death will be no more. Although that time has not come yet we can be comforted in that there will be a resurrection at John 5:28,29. We can read a beautiful example of that at John 1:1-44. In this account when Jesus saw the sufferring that death caused he also wept at verse 33. May this bring you comfort as it brought me comfort. Sincerely Sonia Olivera.
