Obituary for Don C. Reiss

Don C. Reiss of Quakertown, PA passed away suddenly on Monday, July, 4, 2016. He was 63.

Born in Bethlehem, PA to the late Raymond and Edith (Detweiler) Reiss, Don resided in Haycock, PA before moving to Quakertown, PA in 1988.

Don was a self-employed truck driver for the past 20 years and was formerly employed with General Crushed Stone of E. Rockhill, PA. He enjoyed motorcycles, tractors, farming and baling hay.

He was the beloved husband of 43 years to Patricia (Harman) Reiss; devoted father of Brad Reiss and wife Tanya, Nathan Reiss, April LaBuda and husband Rob, Stacey Reiss, Justin Reiss and companion Sheri; dear brother of Cindy Diehl and husband Fred, Lori Roediger and companion Robert, and the late Raymond (Gary) Reiss who is survived by his wife Susan; loving grandfather of Cole, Weston, Marli, Leela, Makenzi and Lukas.

A memorial service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 837 Old Bethlehem Road, Quakertown, PA 18951 on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 11:00 am. The family will receive their friends from 9:30-11:00 am prior to service.

Cremation services were private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home/Central Bucks Crematory, Inc., 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to assist with Don’s funeral expenses.
