John Bellezza was born November 18, 1931 in New York City, NY. He passed away peacefully on the morning of Thursday, June 9, 2016, in Bucks County, PA surrounded by his family. He was 84.

John was born to the late Vincent Bellezza and Maria LaRocca Bellezza. He was raised in Queens, NY and served in the United States Army, where he was honorably discharged after serving 23 years. John served his country in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. John was a longtime resident in Central and South Jersey before moving to the Bucks County area in 2015. John, an ordained Orthodox Catholic Priest, retired from the State of NJ in 1995 and since that time devoted most of his life to charitable work. John was an avid supporter of under privileged youth and was involved in many volunteer endeavors both home and abroad. He founded and helped run the Holy Angels Children Society and the Reys of Hope Project.

He was predeceased by his father, Vincent Bellezza, mother Maria LaRocca Bellezza, loving wife of 47 years Paula L. Bellezza, and his sister Stella Pace. He leaves to his memory, his four children, John Bellezza of India; Laura Bellezza and her husband Nick of Bradenton FL; Donna (Bellezza) Zalewski and her husband Ed of Solebury Twp, PA; and Paul Bellezza and his wife Cindy of Yardley, PA; six grandchildren; Christi, Eli, Garritt, Nick, Nathaniel, Marine and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Monday, June 13th from 6:30-8:30 pm.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Martin of Tours Church, 1 Riverstone Circle, New Hope, PA 18938 on Tuesday, June 14th at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am prior to mass at the church.

Interment with military honors will be held at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ on Wednesday, June 15th at 10:30 am.
