George Baroff of Doylestown passed away Saturday, June, 4, 2016 at Pine Run Health Center, Doylestown, PA. He was 89.

Born in Scranton, PA he was a Doylestown resident for 61 years. For the past six years he resided at Pine Run Lakeview, where he enjoyed singing and drawing. He was a US Air Force Veteran and received a degree in Physics and Engineering from Scranton University.

George worked for Johnsville Air and Defense Center for 31 years as an aeronautical engineer. He was an active member of Doylestown United Methodist Church, volunteering with the youth, Sunday school and was a founding member of their Boy Scout Troop 6.

After retirement he enjoyed working at Bucks County intermediate unit and volunteering at Doylestown Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois and daughter, Sue Mattina. He was the devoted Father in Law to Paul Mattina, Poppop to Wendy And Kameron Arnott, and Great Pops to Spencer June Arnott.

A memorial service will be held at the Doylestown United Methodist Church, 320 E. Swamp Road, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Saturday, June 18th at 11am with visitation starting at 10:30am.

Burial will be held privately.
