Obituary for Felix Jacewicz

BUCKINGHAM, PENNSYLVANIA - Felix J. Jacewicz peacefully left this world Wednesday morning, August 17th, 2011. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He possessed a kind and gentle spirit. Felix was a man who was deeply religious, patriotic, and a lover of animals.

Felix was born January 25, 1923 to the late Peter and Amelia Jacewicz in Yonkers NY, spent much of his life in Syracuse, NY, and most recently had been residing with his family in Buckingham, PA. Felix was most proud of his time spent serving our country in the U.S. Naval Armed Guard during World War II. He will be sincerely missed by those whose lives he has touched with his sense of humor and loving nature. He instilled in his family a love of the outdoors and a sense of compassion towards all creatures great and small.

Felix is preceded in death by his sweetheart Stella (Wojciechowski), with whom he was married for 59 years. He is survived by his daughter Marilyn A. and her husband Gerald Armani of Doylestown, PA, and his "Dollies"- his granddaughters, Heather, Elizabeth, and Jennifer Armani. He is also survived by a brother, William Jacewicz and a sister, Irene Wnuk both of Yonkers, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Bucks County SPCA, P.O. Box 277, Lahaska, PA 18931.

A viewing will be held Saturday, August 20th at the Giminski-Wysocki Funeral Home, 1320 W Genesee St. Syracuse, NY, with a service to follow at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart Church.

Local arrangements by Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home of Doylestown, Inc.
