RYDAL, PENNSYLVANIA - Jacqueline Velma (Brennan) Vaniver, 80, of Rydal, PA passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012.

Born in Binghamton, NY, Mrs. Vaniver resided in Rydal, PA for 48 years and was a former resident of Trevose, PA.

She was a graduate of West Philadelphia High School and was a former professional model and artist in the Philadelphia area during her earlier years. Mrs. Vaniver was a former member of the Germantown Cricket Club and volunteered her time at Abington Hospital, the Mann Music Center and Kimmel Center. She also enjoyed gardening, reading and loved her grandchildren.

Wife of the late Jack Vaniver, she is the beloved mother of Vicki (Fred) Winter of Wyndmoor, Brad Vaniver of Rydal, Java (Stephen) Koch of Doylestown, and the late Amy Christine, also survived by nine grandchildren.

Services will be held privately under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 N. Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, 26th Street Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Phila., PA 19130 would be appreciated.
