Martha married her late husband George L. Eastburn 2nd, also of Pineville, May 16th, 1941. Martha and George grew up together in the small town of Pineville and were childhood sweethearts, as he would ride his bicycle up the path of 413 to see her. She was 14 and he was 16 at the time. He was her only true love. They had a house built on the Eastburn Brown Egg Farm in 1941 and she would help George work on the farm, driving the tractor when feeding the chickens on the range or bringing corn in out of the fields. She would often be seen helping grade the eggs and boxing them to sell. Martha and George shared 51 wonderful years of marriage before George passed in 1992. Martha resided in the house for 71 years, till her passing.

Martha was very strong willed, loving and giving. It gave her great pleasure to give and help her family or friends in need. She always wanted to make people happy and smile as it made her feel good inside.

She loved their swimming pool as she would join in the fun, with family and friends, all summer long. Martha could play croquet for hours and was very hard to beat. She enjoyed watching Nascar and was a big fan of Dale Earnhardt Sr and Jr. She also enjoyed watching football and game shows, such as Family Feud.

She is survived by her 3 children: George L. Eastburn 3rd and his wife Ginny, of Pineville, Benjamin H. Eastburn 2nd and his wife Sarah, of New Britain, Beverly A. Eastburn of Gardenville. Martha's life was blessed by her children and also her grandchildren and great grandchildren: George L. Eastburn 4th and his wife Julie, of Holland, and their 3 children, Matthew, Emily and Kaitlyn; Natalie E. West and her husband Don of Bethlehem, and their 2 children, Brianna and Trey; Heather E. Dowd and Joe of Silverdale, and their 3 boys, Joe Joe, Brian, and Timmy.

Martha was preceded in death by her grandson, Brian, with whom she had a very special relationship. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Bessie Posnett and Lillian Stear.

Martha loved to watch her son, George, coach his high school girls volley ball and soccer teams. She attended many soccer and field hockey games her grandchildren participated in. Martha also enjoyed watching her daughter, Beverly, bowl in a league and they attended many auctions together. She enjoyed many great dinners at her son Ben's house, cooked by his wife Sarah, and many hours sitting on their back porch. She was so proud of her family.
