Obituary for Hilda M. Florczak

MEADOWBROOK, PENNSYLVANIA - Hilda M. Florczak (nee Pflugfelder) of Meadowbrook, PA passed away in Neshaminy Manor, Warrington, PA on Wednesday, March 20, 2013. She was 90 years old.

Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Frederick and Matilda (Kothstein) Pflugfelder, Hilda resided in Philadelphia before moving to Meadowbrook, PA 20 years ago.

She was formerly employed as a Medical Records Clerk with Nazareth Hospital of Philadelphia, PA for 25 years, before retiring in 1994. Hilda enjoyed puzzles and watching GSN (Game Show Network).

She was the beloved wife of the late Walter A. Florczak, devoted mother of Cynthia Hendricks and husband Tom, Sue Berman and husband Steve, dear sister of Dave Pflugfelder and the late Anne VanLeer, Catherine Kreider, Fred and Francis Pflugfelder, loving grandmother of Cindy, Denise, Len, Terry, Anthony, Todd and Matt, also survived by seven great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and step-sister of Chuck, Bob, and John Pflugfelder and Mary Ellen Watts.

A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 235 East State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Saturday, March 23rd at 11 am. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am at the church prior to the mass.

Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Warrington Twp., PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Hilda's memory to the Sisters of the Holy Redeemer, Attn: Sr. Ellen Marvel, 521 Moredon Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.
