Obituary for Katherine I. Aronowitz

WESTMINSTER, CALIFORNIA - Katherine Isler Aronowitz, a New Hope native, passed away peacefully Jan. 28th in Westminster, Ca. She was 95 years old.

She lived for 32 years in the New Hope area and had 9 siblings. Among her jobs were stints at a silverware manufacturer and defense plant during the war.

Katherine met the love of her life Irv Aronowitz during the war years, and they married and moved to Venice, CA in 1950. She spent the next 30 years working in the aerospace field for McDonnell Douglas.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her devotion to family was central to her life and she was the most selfless person you d ever meet.
She leaves behind five children, Arlene, Marilyn (deceased), Michael, Jerry, and Barry; eight grandchildren, Debbie, Laurie, Kelli, Andrew, Anthony, Gary, David, and Adrienne; and seven great-grandchildren, Max, Montgomery, Madison, Josh, Michael, Liam, and Silas.

Katherine had a long life, but more importantly a good life that made such positive contributions to so many. We know you re at peace now. Your earthly journey complete and Heaven just got a real gem.

Funeral services will be held at the Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1680 Aquatong Road, New Hope, PA 18938 on Saturday, February 22nd at 11 a.m., where friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
