Kircher
Obituary for Ruth E. Kircher
Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late John C. Hertler, Sr. and Elsie Borisch Hertler, Ruth resided in Cherry Hill, NJ before moving to Doylestown, PA in 2003.
She was formerly employed as a manager and clerk for her family s bakery (Kircher s Bakery) of Warrington and formerly of Lansdale. Ruth was also a graduate of William Penn High School of Philadelphia class of 1941 and enjoyed needle work and sketching.
She is the devoted mother of Robert C. Kircher and wife Sandy, John C. Kircher and wife Becky, Ruth Smith and husband Thomas, dear sister of the late Harry, John and Walter Hertler, also survived by ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Northwood Cemetery, 1501 Haines Street, Philadelphia, PA 19126 on Monday, February 17, 2014 at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Doylestown United Methodist Church, 320 E. Swamp Road, Doylestown, PA 18901 would be appreciated.
