Obituary for Charles M. Reese Jr.

PIPERSVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA - Charles M. Reese, Jr. of Pipersville, PA passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 in the Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, PA. He was 74.

Born in Scranton, PA to the late C. Marshall and Florence Reese, Charles resided in Pipersville, PA for 37 years and was a former resident of Buck Hill Falls, PA.

Charles was a graduate of the Barrett High School of Mountainhome, PA, Wyoming Seminary of Kingston, PA, attended Gettysburg College, and graduated from the Northrop Institute of Technology in Inglewood, CA.

He was formerly employed as the Director of Maintenance with Ronson Aviation of Trenton for 30 years, before retiring in 1999. Charles was an aviation mechanic and specialized in helicopter maintenance. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the US Army, a former member of the Barrett Volunteer Fire Company, and also enjoyed skiing, snowmobiling and hunting when he was younger.

He was the beloved husband of 37 years to Patricia Reese, dear brother of Marilyn and Kermit Wescott, loving brother-in-law of Barbara Tyrrell, Connie Hairhoger and husband Bob, and Elizabeth Howard, cherished uncle of Charles Reese Wescott and Christina Lynn Wescott.

Cremation services were private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, Doylestown, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Main Street Baptist Church, 59 S. Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 or Aid for Friends - St. Ignatius of Antioch, 999 Reading Avenue, Yardley, PA 19067 would be appreciated.
