PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PENNSYLVANIA - Barbara A. (Rohs) Kleinot of Point Pleasant, PA passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 17, 2014 in the Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown, PA. Her lifelong Catholic faith and love of family sustained Barbara through her final years, until she gratefully joined her Lord and Savior at age 87.
She is the beloved wife of the late Henry Kleinot; devoted mother to her eight children, Raymond (Eva); Michael; Linda Cliver (Kenny); Arthur; Steven; Betsy Palnik (Bob); David (Maria) and Marianne Fisher (Alan). She is the loving grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins whom she adored dearly.
Born in Hilltown, Barbara worked on her father's farm from the time she was a child until she married. In 1949 she married and moved to her permanent home in Point Pleasant where she raised her family and lived for 65 years.
Barbara was a beloved member in the Point Pleasant community. She had a kind, helpful, gracious nature that made her popular with every neighbor. Always a country girl, rarely a day would go by that you didn't see her maintaining her homestead in some way. Whether she was on her tractor, weeding her flower beds, or planting her vegetables, she always kept herself busy.
Barbara had a great love of music and loved to dance, especially the Polka, but above all else, the most important thing to her was her family. With her down to earth style, Barbara showed how it is the simple things in life that bind people together, through thick and thin, by simply sharing and caring. Family was always number one on her list of priorities. Barbara showed us all how to live a full life. Forever in our hearts, she was loved by everyone who knew her and will be deeply missed.
A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5175 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown, PA 18902 on Monday, July 21st at 10:30 am. The family will receive family and friends for a viewing from 8:30-10:30 am at the church prior to Mass.
Interment will follow in Doylestown Cemetery.
