DOYLESTOWN, PA & LONG BEACH ISLAND, NJ - Vera " Ginger" Fenerty of Doylestown, PA passed away at her residence on Saturday, May 31, 2014. She was 91.

Born in Gary, Indiana, Ginger resided in Philadelphia and the Beach Haven Park section of Long Beach Island, NJ before moving to Doylestown, PA in 2010.

She was formerly employed with Strawbridge & Clothier of Philadelphia, PA for 20 years and also assisted her late husband, Austin J. Fenerty, with the Fenerty Funeral Home in the Port Richmond Section of Philadelphia, before retiring in 1980.

Ginger was a member of the Beach Haven Park Yacht Club, volunteered with the Long Beach Island Museum in Beach Haven, and St. Francis of Assisi Church and church center of Brant Beach. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

Ginger was the beloved wife of the late Austin J. Fenerty, devoted mother of Michael Fenerty and wife Debbie, Dennis Fenerty and wife Norma, and the late Kevin Fenerty, loving grandmother of Sarah, Austin and Kathleen Fenerty.

A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5175 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown, PA 18902 on Monday, June 9th at 11 am. The family will receive their friends from 10-11 am at the church prior to mass.
