Obituary for Helen B. Fellman

CHALFONT, PENNSYLVANIA - Helen B. Fellman (nee Buckman) of Chalfont, PA passed away at the Rockhill Mennonite Healthcare Center, Sellersville, PA on Thursday, December 11, 2014. She was 100.

Born on the family dairy farm in Buckingham Township, to the late E. Clarence and Laura Johnson Buckman, Helen resided in Chalfont, PA with her daughter and son-in-law for 10 years and was a former resident of Plumsteadville, PA for over 30 years.

Helen is a member of Salem United Church of Christ of Doylestown. She enjoyed nature and treasured her daily walks in Peace Valley Park into her 80 s. She dearly loved and, in turn, was dearly loved by her family and her friends.

Helen is the wife of the late Russell E. Fellman, devoted mother of Bruce (Mary Theresa) Fellman , James R. (Becky) Fellman, Phyllis (Mark) Lachapelle, dear sister of the late Ernest, Rutledge, Burnette, Paul, Verna, Glenna, Ruth and Marion, sister-in-law of Esther Welch and Claire Fellman, loving grandmother of Melissa (David), Matthew, Jaclyn (Robert), Laurie (Lev), Benjamin (Kristin), and Shanna. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at St. Andrew s Union Cemetery, 615 E. Walnut Street, Perkasie, PA 18944 on Monday, December 15th at 10:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Rockhill Mennonite Community Benevolent Fund, 3250 State Road, Sellersville, PA 18960 would be appreciated.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staffs of Rockhill Mennonite Community and Caring Hospice Services for their care and concern during this final chapter of Helen s earthly life.
