Obituary for Leslie Seth Hartsell

JAMISON, PENNSYLVANIA - Leslie Seth Hartsell of Warwick, PA passed away at his residence on Friday, December 12, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was 75.

Born in Oil City, PA Les resided in Oil City until high school graduation and lived in various areas of the country. Most recently, he was a resident of Warrington, PA before moving to Jamison in 1987.

He attended Antelope Valley College in Palmdale, CA and continued to work in the construction industry. Les was formerly employed with Lockheed Martin of Burbank and Palmdale, CA, and the Air Force Plant 42 where he was an aircraft blueprint detailer. He was a Superintendant and Project manager for various companies, including: Mallard Development, Koppers Corp., DuPont and recently Johnson Controls of New Jersey.

Les enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing, and was an avid aircraft enthusiast who enjoyed attending air shows. He was a Free Mason and also enjoyed watching the Eagles and Steelers football teams. Les also volunteered on the Warwick Tree Committee.

He is the beloved husband of 35 years to Donna Zeiner Hartsell, devoted father of Terri (Rex) Basset, Kurt, Tom, Stephanie, Susan, Melanie and the late Joseph Hartsell, loving grandfather of Randilee Samartino, Greta, Rebecca and Alexa Hartsell and the late Kevin Zarley, cherished great grandfather of Donte and Elaina Hastie. Les was also the youngest of 11 brothers and sisters.

A memorial service will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Saturday, December 20th from 5:00-6:30 pm with a service to begin at 6:30 pm.

Cremation services were private.
