Obituary for Marjorie G. Plummer

DOYLESTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA - Marjorie G. Plummer (nee Gibson) of Doylestown, PA passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in Pine Run-Lakeview of Doylestown surrounded by her family. She was 97.

Born in Elsberry, MO Marjorie was a Bucks County area resident since 1947 and resided in Pineville and Doylestown, PA.

She was formerly employed a s a clerk with the U.S. Postal Service in Pineville for 20 years, prior to retirement. She was an active member of PEO, Lingohocken Garden Club and the Heritage Conservancy. She loved flower arranging, baking and art but most of all sharing stories and conversations with family and friends. Marjorie was a former member of Carversville Christian Church and Lenape Valley Presbyterian Church.

Marjorie was the beloved wife of the late Edward Sickel and Norman Plummer, devoted mother of Susan Wulf and husband James, Barbara Krauss and husband Jack. She was a loving grandmother to Kimberly Sterner, Jamie Wulf, Beth Wentzel, Jed Krauss, Brett Krauss and her eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at the Carversville Christian Church, 3736 Aquetong Road, Carversville, PA on Friday, December 26th at 11 am.

Cremation services were private.
