DOYLESTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA - Mildred C. Orfe of Doylestown, PA passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014 in Pine Run-Lakeview of Doylestown, PA. She was 91.

Born in Philadelphia, PA Mildred was the daughter of the late Charles and Edna Koch Flood. She was a former resident of Willow Grove, Bedminster and Dublin, PA and recently Naples, FL.

Mildred was formerly employed with Fisher and Porter (now ABB, Inc.) of Warminster, PA for 10 years. She was a former Midge Football and Little League Mother, Cub Scout Den Mother, Sunday School Teacher, widow of a former member of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Phila., and an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. Mildred enjoyed horseback riding, dancing, and ice skating on Hunting Park Lake in the Fairmount Section of Phila.

She is the beloved wife of the late James L. Orfe, devoted mother of the late James R. and Gary A. Orfe, dear sister of Dorothy A. Rathgeb and the late Charles Flood, loving aunt of Patricia (William) Herring, Nancy (Joseph) DiNatale, Linda (Edward) Prout, and Kathleen Flood, cherished grandmother of Lisa Dee and great-grandmother of Meghan and Ryan, also survived by grand nieces and nephews.

Mildred' s family would like to thank the staff of Doylestown Hospice and Pine Run Lakeview for the care and compassion they showed our aunt and family.

A service will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Thursday, December 11th at 11 am. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Keller's Church Cemetery, Bedminster Twp., PA.
