LAFAYETTE HILL, PENNSYLVANIA - James F. (Jeremy) Ronan, Jr. of Lafayette Hill, PA passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015 in Sunrise of Lafayette Hill. He was 73.

Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late James and Catherine Stevenson Ronan, James resided in Levittown, PA for 26 years, before moving to Lafayette Hill, PA 5 years ago.

James received a Bachelor' s Degree in Theology from La Salle University and a Master' s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University in New York City. He was formerly employed as a Training Manager with Rohm & Haas Company of Bristol, PA for 17 years, before retiring in 2001. James was a member of the Warrington Community Ambulance, Queen of the Universe Church of Levittown, St. Philip Neri Church of Lafayette Hill, and was an avid reader.

He was the devoted father of Jennifer (James) Lucas of Lafayette Hill, PA, dear brother of Margaret (John) Smith, Rev. Gerald C. Ronan, and the late John Ronan, loving grandfather of Kevin and Sean Lucas, cherished uncle of Christina Jones, John and Ken Smith.

A visitation will be held at Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Thursday, July 23rd from 7-9 pm.

There will be an additional visitation held at St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church, 215 E. County Line Road, Hatboro, PA 19040 on Friday, July 24th from 9:45-10:45 am, prior to the funeral mass at 11 am.

Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.
