Obituary for Margaret J. Cooper

DOYLESTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA - Margaret J. Cooper passed away October 16, 2015, surrounded by her daughters at Pine Run Health Center, Doylestown, PA. She was 79.

Prior to moving to Doylestown in 2012 she lived in Iselin, NJ for over 50 years.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years Paul L. Cooper. She is also predeceased by their son Rosslyn George and sister Shirley Zavin. Margaret is survived by her children: Pamela Cooper and her partner Ken Westfall; Paula Nangle and her husband Michael; Carolyn Cooper, Steve Lamore, as well as 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Margaret was a registered nurse and enjoyed taking care of the mothers and new babies in the nursery at St. Peter s Medical Center in New Brunswick, NJ where she worked for nearly 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, bird watching and taking care of all living things, adopting many stray animals over the years.

A memorial service and interment will be held at 11:30 am on December 28, 2015 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940, followed by a luncheon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Margaret s name can be made to Doylestown Hospital, Development Office, 595 West State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 or www.doylestownhealth.org
