WARRINGTON, PENNSYLVANIA - Virginia L. Himka of Warrington, PA passed away in Abington Memorial Hospital, Abington, PA on Thursday, January 14, 2016. She was 85.

Born in Nicholson, PA to the late Wesley and Mary Louise (Dean) Sturdevant, Virginia was a resident of Nicholson, PA, before moving to Warrington, PA two years ago.

She was an active member of the United Methodist Church of Nicholson and St. Paul’s United Methodist Church of Warrington. Virginia also enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was the beloved wife of the late Peter Himka; devoted mother of Larry Castorina and wife Linda, Chris Castorina, Debra Castorina, Lisa Diliberto and husband Mario; she was also survived by thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 2131 Palomino Drive, Warrington, PA 18976 on Sunday, January 24th at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 pm prior to the service at the church.

Cremation services were private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home/Central Bucks Crematory, Inc., 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Warrington, PA would be appreciated.
