Obituary for Werner H. Natter

DOYLESTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA - Werner H. Natter of Doylestown, PA passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2016 in the Luther Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hatboro, PA. He was 89 just shy of his 90th birthday.

Born on March 15, 1926 in Lauffen, Germany to the late Marta (Ludwig) and Theodor Natter, Werner immigrated to the United States in 1952. He settled in the Germantown Section of Philadelphia, before moving to Southampton, PA, where he resided for 52 years with his family.

While working at Stokes Corporation in Philadelphia, Werner attended college in the evenings and graduated from LaSalle University, receiving a Bachelor Degree in Business. After graduation, he accepted a position as an Account Supervisor with Eaton Yale & Towne of Philadelphia for many years, prior to retirement.

He was the beloved husband of 65 years to Henny (Walther) Werner; devoted father of Heidi DiPasquale and husband Paul; loving grandfather of Alexander and Nicolette DiPasquale; dear brother of Margarete Dane, Hildegard Erbach and the late Gerhard and Dieter Natter; he is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Elfriede and Anneliese Natter.

A memorial service will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Friday, March 4th at 12 Noon. The family will receive friends from 11 am to 12 Noon at the funeral home.

Cremation services were private.
