Obituary for Roberta S. Gledhill
Born in Washington, DC to the late Robert and Martha (Dodge) Scalco, Roberta resided in Upper Moreland, PA before moving to Buckingham, PA in 1968.
She was formerly employed as a Bus Driver with the Central Bucks School District for 35 years, before retiring in 2011. Roberta enjoyed reading, crafts and her love of animals.
She was the beloved wife of the late William G. Gledhill; step-mother of Debbie Smith and husband Chuck, and Shirley Mae; dear sister of Robert “Lanny” Scalco and wife Dottie, and Mark Scalco; also survived by additional family members and many dear friends.
Cremation services were private under the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home/Central Bucks Crematory, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Doylestown Hospital Hospice, Development Office, 595 West State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 or www.doylestownhealth.org or Bucks County SPCA, PO Box 277, Lahaska, PA 18931 or www.bcspca.org would be appreciated.
