OTTSVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA - Richard F. DeAngelo, Sr. of Ottsville, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 20, 2016 surrounded by his family in Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, PA. He was 72.

Born in Trenton, NJ to the late Michael and Alice (Miller) DeAngelo, Rich resided in Morrisville, PA before moving to Ottsville, PA in 1980.

Rich was a self-employed Mechanical Contractor for many years; he was a US Air Force Veteran; enjoyed projects, NASCAR, cooking, his house at the lake and the NJ Shore at Wildwood, NJ.

He was the beloved husband of 42 years to Gail DeAngelo; devoted father of Richard F. DeAngelo, Jr. and wife Anne Marie of Hamilton, NJ, Todd DeAngelo of Yardville, NJ, Melissa Bache and husband Charles Bache, Jr. of Breiningsville, and Shawn DeAngelo of Ardmore; dear brother of Michael DeAngelo and wife Judy, Rosalie Kundra and husband Peter; also survived by numerous grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Thursday, March 24th from 10am to 12 Noon with a service to follow at 12 Noon.
